New Prices

As from the 3rd January our new price list has come into effect. The good news is that in overall terms, chocolate prices are down by an average of around 3%, although this varies from product to product. The Cocoa Market is now low and as both our main suppliers, Callebaut and Belcolade, buy cover on a frequent and regular basis over a 6 month period, to average out the peaks and troughs, the full effect of the lower market will only come through mid way in 2012. So we do expect a more significant drop in Chocolate prices with effect from 1st July this of course assumes that the market remains around current levels.

HB Ingredients are proud to announce that just before Christmas we were awarded accreditation against BRC Global Standard-Storage and Distribution.

It is with regret that we have to announce that Ian White, our account manager covering the West Country and Food Service customers is leaving HB Ingredients as from the beginning of 2012. Ian has decided to take some time out and travel the world. He has been a great asset to the company and we wish him well for the future.
