New Vanilla Products from Little Pod




HB Ingredients are now distributors for the LittlePod range of vanilla products.
Their products are made from top quality Madagascan vanilla and include pods, extracts and paste.


The vanilla paste comes in a tube, with one teaspoon equal to one vanilla pod, making this a convenient and versatile addition to a chef's pantry.

With summer around the corner, hopefully, LittlePod's vanilla extract in 940ml plastic bottle is ideal for ice cream manufacturers.

Ingredients Pantry Range of Products

A New Easy Recipe from Jayne our Chocolatier

Chocolate Cluster



Place all ingredients, other than the chocolate, in a bowl and mix well. Slowly add tempered chocolate to form a dough and roll into golf ball size pieces, leaving to harden. Decorate by drizzling the remainder of the chocolate over them.

Reminder of Olympic Delivery Surcharge

As mentioned in June's newsletter, we would like to remind you of the delivery surcharges due to the Olympics.

Click here for the specific postcodes and dates this applies to.(25th July-8th September).

This surcharge will be £1.95 per consignment, which will also be subject to the normal fuel surcharge, so a total of £2.03.

Also, any parcels going into anywhere termed as a "lockdown area" (Venues and Official hotels) can only be accessed by UPS. They will charge £25 per PARCEL to deliver these consignments which Interlink will pass these charges over to us in full. This amount consisits of a £20 security surcharge and £5 parcel delivery charge. Interlink have published a list of the affected venues, click here to access a copy.

We have informed, by e-mail, our customers who are located in these affected areas, but if you need any further information, please contact a member of our Customer Service team.

Thermomix Demonstration by Beverley Dunkley, Thursday 11th October 2012

On Thursday 11th October 2012, HB will be holding a Thermomix Demonstration run by Beverley Dunkley from the UK Chocolate Academy at Banbury.

Beverley will be demonstrating the versatility of the Thermomix using various recipes. There are limited spaces, so they will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Thermomix is a super fast food blender and processor that also weighs, cooks, simmers and steams.

One Thermomix with One Bowl and One Blade can do the following and more:

  • Thermomix weighs - with built-in electronic scales
  • Thermomix grates - nuts, cheese, chocolate, parmesan
  • Thermomix grinds - coffee beans, sugar to icing sugar, wet or dry spices
  • Thermomix blends - soups, smoothies, milkshakes and sauces
