Following the move to Lewes last month, we are now settled in the new premises and finally the Security fencing and Building contractors have completed the planned works. So back to business as usual!
We are delighted to announce that Carol Nash has joined the HB team as Business Development Manager. Carol has enormous experience in the Food Industry at all levels and her talents will be focused on certain projects to further develop the market whilst supporting the Account Managers.

From 1st October,
Glucose – up by 8p/kilo (15kilo and 25kilo tubs) up 10p/kilo (1 kilo tubs)
Fondant – up by 3p/kilo – Organic Fondant up by 15p/kilo
Van Houten Vending products – general increase due to high Cocoa Powder prices, we envisage being able to hold the new levels for at least 6 months.
Chocolate prices will decrease from 1st January 2011, please plan to de-stock by the end of December!
We are proud to be sponsoring the UK heat of the World Chocolate Masters.
The competition will take place at The Restaurant Show at Earls Court in London on 11th and 12th October.
At the competition the workmanship and creations of the contestants will be judged by a professional jury and the winner will be crowned the UK Chocolate Master 2010-11.
The UK Chocolate Master will then go on to represent the UK at the World Finals in Paris in October 2011.

HB Ingredients Christmas Shutdown
HB Ingredients will officially close at 2pm on Thursday 23rd December and re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011.
Although we will be closed we will still have skeleton staff on during the shut down for any emergency orders.
